Every year Greenwood FC hold a Charity Blitz and donate the proceeds collected to a local cause. We have the very good fortune of having Brian Newman co-ordinate and run the Charity Blitz, and this year it was held on Good Friday in the John Bermingham Centre with all proceeds going to the Cope Foundation.
A huge thank you needs to be extended to Brian and those who helped him, the management and the residents at the John Bermingham Centre for receiving us and the players and their parents for playing, supporting and donating.
